Special Edition - Darling Harbour Jazz Fest

Hey all, Ben here with a special guest instalment of the gig guide.

Whilst I get ready for the monsoon Sydney gets ready for one of its two annual jazz festivals. That's right the Darling Harbour Jazz and Blues Fest will knock your socks off over the June long weekend.

There's plenty of variety to whet your musical whistle and you can check out the full program here. Here's my picks for what the see over the weekend:

Saturday
11am - Kick things off with a bit of second line action as the Jazz Parade winds its way through Darling Harbour from the Convention Centre
12.45pm - Salvation Street Shout - Palm Grove
3.45pm - Christa Hughes and the Honky Tonk Shonks - Palm Grove

Sunday
1pm - Geoff Bull's New Orleans Jazz Band - Tumbalong Park

Monday
11.30am - The Big 'Ol Bus Band - Tumbalong Park
2.30pm - Mojo Juju - Tumbalong Park
5pm - Pugsley Buzzard - Harbourside

There will also be a bunch of cool bands including The Cope Street Parade and Fromage à Trois playing at La Toosh on the Village Green over the weekend.

Have fun!
